State of Homelessness in Long Beach

The Long Beach City Manager recently released the 2017 State of Homelessness Report on March 9, 2017. The Report includes the annual report from the Homeless Services Advisory Committee and the Study Session on Homeless held at the City Council Meeting on October 4, 2016. With the passage of Measure H, we are hopeful that access to much needed services such as mental health care, substance abuse treatment and supportive services will be increased. The Coalition looks forward to continue to partner with the city and other service providers to address these barriers and increase access to housing and services for those residents in Long Beach without a home.
